The Safe Handling of Chemicals Course is an essential component of our commitment to ensuring the effective and responsible management of chemical products within our organization. It is imperative that all tractor operators involved in chemical spraying, as well as mixers and any other employees handling chemical products, undergo comprehensive training in the safe handling of chemicals.

Our training regimen covers a wide array of topics, including instruction from Health and Safety Representatives, basic firefighting techniques, and Emergency First Aid Level 1 certification.

Additionally, specialized training programs are tailored to specific roles within our workforce. Forklift Truck Operator F2 Basic Training is mandatory for all employees operating forklifts, ensuring that they possess the necessary skills and knowledge to operate these vehicles safely and efficiently. Similarly, Tractor Operator Code F11 training is provided to all employees operating tractors, and Loader/Excavator Operator F12 A Basic Training is required for all employees operating TLBs, with certification necessary to validate competence in these roles.

Furthermore, we prioritize ongoing education and development through optional training opportunities. These include Risk Assessment Training (JSA), which equips employees with the skills to identify and mitigate potential risks in the workplace, and training on policies and procedures focusing on Fair Labor Practices, emphasizing our commitment to ethical employment standards.

We also recognize the importance of compliance with data protection legislation and offer training on the implementation of the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA) in the workplace through webinars. Additionally, our dedication to food safety is evident in our Practical Approach to HACCP Training, where eight employees have been trained in HACCP principles to ensure the highest standards of food safety.

Moreover, our commitment to sustainability is reflected in our Carbon Footprint Certificate of Competence, highlighting our efforts to minimize environmental impact. In our warehouse operations, specialized training on the Practical Aspects of Imazil & Ecotizer Titration is provided to ensure accurate and effective chemical management. Furthermore, our personnel are trained in sampling techniques for citrus black spot intake inspections, demonstrating our dedication to quality control and compliance in all aspects of our operations.
